Photos from Tour: From Israel to Mexico (Preview)

    1. Lounging after the rehearsal, female dancers from the Shen Yun New World Company opt for more relaxed poses at Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Orlando, Florida.
    2. These male dancers are always ready to go the extra mile, whether on stage or in front of the camera, showcasing their incredible flexibility and strength.
    3. There is a Chinese idiom that goes, “Ten years of practice for one minute on stage.” Our dancers dedicate much of their time to perfecting their moves, knowing that all the effort will pay off when they see the audience’s reaction on stage!
    4. When dance is life… you do it anywhere, anytime, even at the beach!
    5. Who needs a dance studio when you have the great outdoors? These dancers make the most of their surroundings by using anything they can find as a makeshift barre—including this railing by the water!
    6. Greetings from our dancers of the Shen Yun New World Company.
    7. There's nothing quite like the joy of spending a day at the beach with your closest friends—these gentlemen are clearly having a blast!
    8. With the gentle breeze in his hair and the warmth of the sun on his skin, this performer basks in the glory of a breathtaking sunset at sea.
    9. A moment of tranquility as the Florida sun sets on the horizon and a ship sails through calm waters.
    10. Emcee Nancy Zhang (left) and principal dancers Angela Lin (middle) and Kaidi Wu (right) capture the moment with a fun selfie on their Florida cruise adventure.
    11. As the sun sets, our dancers take a leisurely stroll after disembarking from their cruise, savoring the simple moments amidst their busy tour schedule.
    12. This dancer knows the importance of preparation—she warms up before hitting the shops at La Vallee Village in Serris, France.
    13. Behold the striking auditorium of Cité des Congrès de Nantes in France, where our musicians are hard at work rehearsing in the orchestra pit, getting ready to delight the audience with their beautiful music.
    14. In between performances in Paris, the artists found some time to explore the charming town of Versailles, where they are transported back in time to the golden age of Louis XIV.
    15. Dancers Byeongkil Kim, Nick Zhao, and Jeff Chuang (from left) show their excitement as they make their way to the magnificent Palace of Versailles, ready to immerse themselves in its grandeur and history.
    16. Next stop, Israel. One of the most ancient port cities in the world, Jaffa (or Yafo) is mentioned in the Bible and was once the disembarkation point for pilgrims to the Holy Land.
    17. St. Peter’s Church, which dates back to the 17th century, is a magnificent landmark in Old Jaffa. The Apostle Peter is said to have performed a miracle in the city by raising Tabitha, a kind and virtuous follower of Jesus, from the dead.
    18. Originally a city in its own right, Jaffa is now integrated with Tel Aviv, a city with beautiful beaches, a diverse cultural scene, and a vibrant nightlife.
    19. Located about an hour's drive from Jaffa, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem is one of the most sacred sites in Christianity. This historic church is believed to be built on the very spot where Jesus was crucified, buried, and resurrected.
    20. The Western Wall, also known as the
    21. Both the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Western Wall are located within the ancient walled city of Jerusalem, commonly referred to as the Old City. This area is not only home to these holy sites, but is also bustling with a colorful array of shops and markets.
    22. Located on the border between Jordan and Israel, the Dead Sea is of course famous for its buoyancy: the lake's extremely high salt content means one can float effortlessly on the water's surface.
    23. But before hitting the water for an unforgettable floating session, dancer Ellie Rao cools off in style with a refreshing popsicle.
    24. The Dead Sea is also the world's largest natural spa! Its mud, in addition to being fun, is rich in revitalizing minerals and is said to have numerous benefits for the skin.
    25. These gents know how to make a splash in the water and at the breakfast table—it's time to feast!
    26. The colorful selection of fruits leave erhu virtuoso Linda Wang spoiled for choice.
    27. Dancer Fanny Lim is delighted at the sight of the breakfast buffet, overflowing with a variety of delicious treats.
    28. Dancer Chelsea Cai takes her adventure to new heights as she sits atop her humpbacked buddy.
    29. Let's be honest, who needs a Ferrari when you can ride a trusty camel through the desert?
    30. The performers couldn't resist the temptation of trying some delicious gelato from Golda, the largest Israeli ice-cream chain.
    31. Shen Yun International Company's originally-scheduled six performances in Tel Aviv were sold out months in advance and the two newly added performances also quickly sold out within three weeks. Until next time, Israel!
    32. Shen Yun North America Company's musicians strike a chord in this harmonious group photo taken in Miami.
    33. Downtown Philadelphia's towering buildings frame the iconic City Hall, which is the largest municipal building in the US and features 700 rooms.
    34. The dimly lit Auditorium Theatre in Chicago is filled with the beautiful sound of music as the pianist rehearses for the upcoming performance.
    35. The luxurious interior of the lobby makes it a perfect place for our female musicians to gather and snap a photo with their instruments.
    36. Who wouldn't be enchanted by the Abu Simbel Temples? Although Shen Yun has yet to perform in Egypt, our musicians are still captivated by this Egyptian-inspired building in Chino Hills, California.
    37. Violinists Anna Mahlen and Freda Wang find the perfect spot in the lobby for an impromptu duet session.
    38. When our artists are on tour, a lot of their time is spent on the bus traveling to the next performance locale. During a stop at a gas station, this violinist takes out her instrument for a quick practice session.
    39. Principal dancer Bella Fan strikes a stunning pose, bringing a ray of light and beauty to the backdrop of a rainy Seattle.
    40. The rain may have been falling in Seattle, but it sure didn't dampen the spirits of these dancers!
    41. Seattle's skyline is a sight to behold, with skyscrapers reaching to the sky like giant monoliths.
    42. During a break from performances in Auckland, New Zealand, dancers took an exciting adventure to Waiheke Island and got their adrenaline pumping with a zip line!
    43. Standing among the greats: composer and conductor Chu Yun draws inspiration from the busts of the musical giants who came before him.
