      Toronto 2018 (Preview)

    1. Nara Cho continues to stretch solo, in preparation for the evening performance. Yes, her leg is well past her head!
    2. Dancer Jay Huang wanted to challenge his brother, dancer Joe Huang, from a <a href=https://www.shenyunperformingarts.org/news/view/article/e/Rpm0fT2a9-s/first-weeks-of-shen-yun-2018.html?photo=9>previous photo</a>. Which brother do you think created a more striking pose on stage?
    3. Principal Dancers Michelle Lian, Hsiao-Hung Lin, Angelia Wang and Evangeline Zhu (L to R) pose elegantly upon the stairs in Toronto.
    4. Did you know that Principal Dancer Angelia Wang likes to eat dark chocolate as a pre-show snack? And look what she can do after that!
    5. In a previous interview, Principal Dancer Evangeline Zhu once said that when she trains and performs she connects with the profundity of the old folk tales that are passed down.
    6. A native of China, Evangeline has been a dancer with Shen Yun Performing Arts since 2013.
    7. A perfectly straight Michelle Lian stretches in the hallway at the Four Seasons Centre. Michelle is a principal dancer with the Shen Yun New York Company.
    8. Angelia Wang, originally from Chicago, uses the railing of the theater's glass staircase as a barre to warmup!
    9. Jay Huang stretches in one of the rehearsal rooms at the theatre.
    10. Dancer Tim Lin quietly gazes outside one of many large glass windows at the Four Seasons Centre.
    11. Trombonist Alexandru Moraru and trumpeter Vladimir Zemtsov use the open space in the lobby to practice.
    12. Russian-born trumpeter Vladimir Zemtsov joined Shen Yun Performing Arts in 2017.
    13. Alexandru Moraru is an award winning musician, originally from Romania.
