  • Shen Yun World Company resumed its France tour with three performances in Paris. And with a day off in the city, the group made sure to visit what is probably the world's greatest museum of Renaissance art - the Louvre.

  • Erhu soloist Linda Zhen Wang and the orchestra also spent a morning at the Palace of Versailles, built by Louis XIV.
  • After days of travel on the bus, dancers Lily Wang (left) and Stephanie Guo were happy to be back in the theater and able to stretch. We’ll leave them stretching in Europe for just a moment and check back with another group.

  • Back in Europe, Shen Yun World Company also performed in Germany’s Ludwigsburg, where principal dancers Susan Zhou (left) and Lily Wang mimic a scene from this year’s The Enchanted Painting.

  • Adjacent to the theater is a long, treelined walkway leading to a beautiful park. The group still has several cities left in Europe, including Germany’s Berlin and Frankfurt. (Photo by projectionist Regina Dong)
  • With lots of photo-ops across Europe, dancers Rocky Liao and Zack Chan were feeling a little selfieish.
  • One of the highlights of the Europe tour so far was an outing to the Montserrat mountains in Spain, outside Barcelona.
  • The mountain range of Montserrat, literally meaning serrated mountains, is home to a Benedictine Abbey and breathtaking views. (Photo by dancer Joe Huang)
  • If you look at the rocks long enough, which some of the performers did, you start seeing human faces, like a natural Mount Rushmore. (Photo by dancer Songtao Feng)
  • To get to the top of the cliffs, some took a steep ride on the funicular. (Photo by Jun Liang)

  • Even the day after two performances in Barcelona, many in the group hiked all the way up. At the top, dancers Jeff Chuang (left) and Rui Suzuki still had energy to monkey around. (Photo by Songtao Feng)

  • This week we join Shen Yun in Paris, Texas, Germany, and the majestic Montserrat mountains of Spain.

Join us for a look behind the artists’ lens. These photos were taken this past week by Shen Yun performers while on the road during the 2017 tour.
