Back News > Shen Yun 2017 Vacation Photos
After months of intense rehearsals and then five months on tour, it was time for Shen Yun’s artists to have a mini respite. We begin with dancer Kexin Li at Arches National Park in Utah.

    Shen Yun 2017 Vacation Photos

  • Kexin Li decided to visit four U.S. national parks on her vacation. Here she is under Delicate Arch in Utah.
  • As you can see, she enjoys stretching even while on vacation.
  • Others followed the great tradition of the Caribbean vacation, in this case Bermuda, where dancers (from left) Danny Li, Felix Sun, Benjamin Lee, and Jason Pan chillaxed.
  • Even after being together in the same dressing rooms, hotel rooms, airplanes, and buses 24 hours a day for months, these dancers choose to also take their vacations together. As part of their Caribbean cruise, they visited Labadee, Haiti.
  • They also went on a rock climbing rainforest tour in Puerto Rico. (Photo by Felix Sun)
  • Others enjoyed the beaches of Florida…. Pictured is projectionist Regina Dong in Longboat Key, Florida.
  • And a quiet stroll accompanied by a romantic sunset. (Photo by Regina Dong)
  • Some chose to return to destinations they had visited during tour for a closer look with more free time. Entrance to Todai-ji Temple in Nara, Japan. (Photo by projectionist Annie Li)

  • And happy deer! (Photo by Annie Li)
  • Dancer Daren Chou also made some new friends in a Japanese park.
  • Seemingly following a Shen Yun Asia Tour route, he visited Japan's Osaka Castle... (Photo by dancer Daren Chou)
  • And South Korea’s Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul.
  • Outside a Buddhist temple, a single lotus flower was in full bloom... (Photo by Daren Chou)
  • …whereas it was roses galore in England, visited by another group of dancers. If you’ve seen traditional Chinese art, you’ll know they have a fascination with images of critters on flowers and vegetables. (Photo by dancer Diana Teng)

  • From left: Cindy Chi, Ashley Wei, Cherie Zhou, and Diana Teng at Blenheim Palace.
  • Others, like MC Leeshai Lemish, chose to spend vacation with their families.
  • They went to the mountains of Colorado, where, after a steep hike, they reached Glenwood Canyon’s Hanging Lake—a destination that might soon be closed due to too many visitors.
  • Maroon Bells, just outside of Aspen, Colorado. But if you think this photo is nice...
  • You’ll love this one from Banff by bassist TK Kuo.

  • Lily Wang was determined to get close enough, safely, to Bridalveil Falls to capture this rainbow. She got soaked from the spray in the process, but it was worth it.

  • Meanwhile, on her own national park tour, dancer Kexin Li took this photo on Grinnell Glacier Trail, Glacier National Park, Montana.
  • Wild Goose Island, Glacier National Park, Montana. (Photo by Kexin Li)
  • Bighorn sheep in the wild in Montana. Other Shen Yun vacationers in different parts of the country also spotted moose and black bear.
  • In Yellowstone, Wyoming, the third of her national parks, Kexin Li took this photo of Grand Prismatic Spring.
  • Finally, her fourth national park: Grand Teton, Wyoming. Sunrise at Oxbow Bend. (Photo by Kexin Li)
