Shen Yun Symphony Orchestra during curtain call at Taipei Zhongshan Hall, the last stop in this season's Asia tour.

From Historic to New Age—Impressive Concert Halls Across Taiwan

  • The intriguing acoustic architecture of Pingtung County Performing Arts Center Concert Hall.
  • The distinctive facade of the National Taichung Theater.
  • Full house at Yuanlin Performance Hall in Changhua.
  • Taichung City Chung Shan Hall.
  • Rehearsal time at Tainan Cultural Center Performing Hall.
  • The full grandeur of Taiwan's National Concert Hall with its golden roof, upturned eaves, and massive red colonnades, reminiscent of the palaces of the Ming and Qing Dynasties of China (1368–1912).
  • A gigantic Shen Yun Symphony Orchestra poster in front of National Concert Hall in Taipei.
  • National Concert Hall's beautiful pipe organ, a magnificent backdrop to our performance, was the largest in Asia when installed in 1987.
  • Xiè Xiè Tái Wān—Thank You Taiwan!"" rel="wn-content-fancybox" data-sub-html="
After our performances, we took a souvenir photo in front of the National Concert Hall with light painting. The Chinese characters say: "<i>Xiè Xiè</i> Tái Wān—Thank You Taiwan!"

  • The Symphony Orchestra performed in an array of impressive concert halls on the lovely island of Formosa. And our special take on classical music really struck a chord here. Everywhere we went, we were met with super appreciative crowds.

Goodbye for now, Taiwan. We will be back soon!
